Mom’s Trip to Mexico

So my mom finally decided to visit Mexico. This blog captures some of our memorable moments during our trips to various parts of Mexico, most of which were absolutely breathtaking and some of the best scenery in the world. A trip of a lifetime for me personally to have been able to spend time with the most amazing woman in the world and explore a truly amazing country. Other than the beaches and stuff, we got to see the 7th wonder of the world, monarch butterfly migration, and take a train ride through canyons with jaw dropping scenery. Our itinerary was as follows (time that we spent outside Mexico City):

Feb 16-19: Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Chichester Itza, Isles Mujeres
Feb 24: Valle de Bravo - monarch butterfly migration
March 1-3: Copper Canyons and Chihuahua

Copper Canyons - Northwestern Mexico
Mar 2, 2019

Los Mochis, Sinaloa • Mexico

A trip to the Copper Canyons (Barrancas del Cobre) with Mom...traveling on the famous “El Chepe” train from Los Mochis to Divisadero, crossing the beautiful canyons which are SEVEN times the size of the Grand Canyons in the US 😂. The train passes through 86 tunnels and 37 bridges and goes from the sea level at the starting station to over almost 8000 feet (2500 meters) above the sea level. Spending the night in the town of Posada Barrancas and going to the Canyons Adventure Park with the second longest zip lining in the world (mom won’t take it and most likely won’t let me take it either but I guess we will have to be content with the cable car that takes you to the top of the canyon with breathtaking views).
